We bought Sandie out of Haythorn's when she was a yearling because we wanted a Eddie Eighty mare to cross on Light and Sandie's mom is a daughter of Eddie Eighty.  Ann rode her all the time by the time she was 4 with our toddler daughter along for the ride also.  Ann's sister Katy ran some barrels on her but Sandie injured her hock hanging a stirrup unloading from the trailer so she began her broodmare career.  She and Light produce only the "can't miss kind" and we always breed her that way.
