After years of artistic creativity in drawing and painting, Sherry's brother sent her some gourds and a book encouraging her to "make some great pieces of artwork". That was 5 years ago. Since then Sherry has participated in numerous shows and sold a multitude of original one
of a kind gourd decor. Baskets, Lamps, Masks, Clocks, Wall Art, Candle Holders. She incorporates beads, conchos, mosaic tile, pine needles, or just about anything into a gourd. She carves, paints, stains to each individual piece according to her vision for a design.
